Fan creation is a creation based on some other popular creation.

We have different kinds of fan creation, which depends on the elaboration. Most frequent are stories otherwise fan-fiction, videos, pictures named fanart and costumes called cosplay. It is not easy to say, whether fan creation contravene copyright law, or not, but this creation is mostly considered as a new art production.
